Our Occupational Health Professionals deliver understandable and actionable advice on health risk and management. Prevention is considered a precursor to cure and the range of health screening services provided by COHS have been specifically developed to assist clients in identifying potential health problems before they occur.

Health screening services are available either at the company’s own facility or if preferable at client premises.

Our screening services include:

Fitness to work assessment
     
Pre-employment screening (including close interaction with human resource professionals as part of an organisation’s recruitment policy)  
     
Drug and alcohol testing  
     
Night worker and new/expectant mother risk assessments  
     
Laboratory services - Cobalt Nickel, Lead and Chrome  
     
Health surveillance - audiometry, spirometry and visual acuity  
     
Driver health screening and medical examinations (Crane, HGV, LGV, PSV & Forklift Truck)  
     
Assessing (through proactive review) the general and acceptable fitness of employees including advice regarding lifestyle including physical assessment, body mass index, blood pressure and lung function.
